Floating Cemetery

Floating Cemetery creates a place of reflection and memorialization through the use of materials and space that allude to the familiar rituals of death and mourning—burials, tombstones, obituaries, and more.

This project is dedicated to Professor Jane Farver, who always believed in her students. The paper scrolls display the obituaries written by the Artist and her peers, who remember Jane with love.
