Tiger

This large-scale drawing explores generational trauma, specifically in the Korean-American immigrant community. The text, written in Korean, weaves together a Korean children’s story and a personal memory to create a new narrative. Translation of the story is offered on a case-by-case in-person basis to maintain the integrity of the work’s intention.

The piece was exhibited in a group show at Compton Goethals Gallery, The City College of New York.
